This evening at 8:30pm on the MJC Zoom, join us, in partnership with the Holocaust Memorial and Tolerence Center's Director of Education Helen Turner, to commemorate the anniversary of Kristallnacht. Ms. Turner will weave historical information and eyewitness account of Kindertransport survivor Amita Weisbord to illustrate the impact of this historical moment 82 years later.

Our Prayer for Election Day 2020 As we await the results of this Election Day, we pray for our government and for the American people. We pray that all Americans will take to heart the great responsibility to vote and respect the vote that others have cast. Our Prophet Jeremiah urged the people of his time to bring peace to the land in which they were living and to pray for their government. For over 2500 years we have prayed for the well-being of the many lands in which ou...r people have lived. Today, and in the days ahead, we continue that tradition. We pray that when the election results are in, that we, the American people- all of us- will remember as citizens of this blessed nation that we must work together to bring healing, justice, and peace to every citizen of our land. May God work through all of us to devote ourselves to making real the dream of an America in which the dignity of all is acknowledged, political differences are respected, and all of us resolve to restore the covenant of, one nation, under God. God, You who have, "Shed Your grace" on this land, inspire us to continue to build from this hallowed day, a nation that reflects our highest and most cherished values. B'Shalom, Rabbi Charles Klein Rabbi Jack Dermer
