To theatergoers everywhere: We love you. We miss you. And we want nothing more than to be with you again. For you to see us make you laugh.... For right now, the only way to stick together is to be apart. But remember, this is only intermission. And everyone loves a great second act. #OnlyIntermission #broadway #newyork #39stepsny #nosies

Look at the joy Broadwayworld chose to remember yesterday...And five years ago we reopened at Union Square Theatre! Time to reopen back on Broadway once opening is possible...don’t you agree ?!! we could all use the show that Ben Brantley calls THIS CENTURY'S MOST TIRELESS AND HIGH-PROFILE EXAMPLE OF THE LITTLE SHOW THAT COULD"

It's Arnie Burton's birthday today - yes he's '39' AGAIN! Join us in wishing him a very happy day in whatever costume he choses to adopt (and why limit it to just ONE?) Arnie has performed his many roles in 39 Steps 1000 times...so far...and we've got plans to keep him performing again very soon! Happy birthday, old chap! (young chap??)... Smashing photo by the equally smashing Robert Petkoff!

Today would have been Hitch's 118th birthday so let's enjoy a few of his wiser quotes! Feel free to share your own favorites. Join us in wishing a jolly good birthday to the "Master of Suspense" "There is no terror in the bang, only in the anticipation of it." "The length of a film should be directly related to the endurance of the human bladder."... "Drama is life with the dull bits cut out."

If you're missing 39 Steps and happen to be near Ontario, Canada in June, the lovely St. Jacob's County Playhouse will be mounting their production from May 31 to June 17 using OUR fabulous set, props and costumes designed by Peter McKintosh, and with none other than Cliff Saunders, who played Mr. Memory, Louisa Jordan and dozens of other roles during our FIRST Broadway run. And the assistant director shall be the excellent Jacob James, who has previously performed in the sh...ow as well! Our costumes, set, doors, birds, parachute men, and all the other props were packed up for the journey yesterday, and we thought it was an EXTREMELY good sign that the shopping mall across the street from where it was stored in Connecticut is named the HITCHCOCK PLAZA! Get your tickets TODAY! https://www.draytonentertainment.com/Online/default.asp

Please join us in wishing a jolly good '39th birthday' to Mark Cameron Pow, who portrayed the devilishly evil Professor Jordan and a few hundred other characters with bags of talent, and fun! You can see him currently in The Lion King as Zasu and we hope the 'circle of life' brings him back to a production of 39 Steps soon! Happy birthday indeed! (brilliant photo by Robert Petkoff)

Wishing a VERY happy '39th' birthday (not actually 39 for a while indeed) to the brilliantly talented Brittany Vicars, who gave us an alluring, romantic but independently determined Pamela, a winsome, sheltered, but charmingly passionate Margaret, and a menacing, seductive, and...well...ultimately...dead....Annabella. She gave us, and our audiences (especially the children) her love and dedication. Here's to many MANY more happy birthdays! We can't wait to see your next role!
