2 more rows tomorrow and harvest is done for 2020. Covid 2020 is a good year for the grapes, we have beautiful bunches of berries. Also the vines are older indeed and the tender loving care given to the vines by Erwin and Sebastien. With me singing to them once in a while when I walked through the rows . Hopeful that we have delicious wine this year as the brix is very good. The bounty we reap from the land, so be good to our planet and mother nature.

As all hands on board for harvesting, our tastig room will be closed for this week.

Harvesting this week, Thursday through Sunday hopefully will finish. Pls pm me for those who would like to join. We have to adhere to sanitary protocol and distancing during harvesting.

As we go on with our lives today, take a moment to remember the 9/11 victims. We hope for world peace and we hope for world well ess in this time of uncertainties. When all in this planet hope for the best and well for our world, our hope will be answered.

In 2020 we have to do more of eat local, drink local and buy local. Meet at at Plattsburgh Farmers and Crafters market and Rouses Point Farmers market. Share the pleasure of your local finds with family and friends far and near. Veiling the vines operation :-)

Time to cover the vines as the birds are peeping at the yummy sweet grape berries. It is sweet and the little critters know that :-) It is a memorable year this year's vintage. 2020 has lots of sunny days and the vine just love it. But 2020 is a challenging year for everybody in the world. A vintage to remember this year. What will you name this vintage? Let me know :-)

Our 2019 white is here. Same yummy white, Cuvée du Champlain, light as summer air of Champlain, beautiful sweet but not overpowering, easy for summer drink and pairing with you salads and fish. Aroma of vanilla, caramelized hazelnut. Cheers!
