6BC will be open all this Labor Day Weekend, 10am-6pm. Don't forget to wear a mask and socially distance. Occupancy limit will be 20 people at a time. Welcome Back!

6BC is reopening!!! On Labor Day weekend. Our new Open Hours will be weekends only from 10am-4pm (subject to volunteer availability).... Due to the pandemic there will be restrictions and new safety practices in accordance with GreenThumb/NYC Park’s Department guidelines. These include: Occupancy limit of 20 guests at a time. Everyone entering the garden must wear a mask or face covering including gardeners. Groups and individuals must maintain 6 feet (2 meters) of distance between them. No large groups will be admitted and no events are to be held in the garden. The Library will not be reopening at this time. Hand sanitizer will be available. We cannot adequately sanitize all surfaces in the garden such as wooden benches and stone tables. We do sanitize gate/door handles, locks and tools used by gardeners. Enter at your own risk. Wash hands well when you return home. If you see people working in the garden during the week, please do not ask to be let in. Many of our members are especially vulnerable to COVID-19 and do not wish to be around the public. Also, while working we cannot adequately make sure visitors are adhering to the safety practices. That all said, we've missed you!
