8 Hands Farm 14.11.2020

Proud to have our farm mentioned in this NYT article profiling the changing face of farming on the North Fork. Thanks to all the customer support that allows these farms and ours to do what we do.

Delicious, crispy fried chicken made with our own pasture raised chicken, now available on our food truck. We are so excited to announce that our food truck is now up and running and permanently parked behind our farm store. A truly farm to plate experience, with our menu items inspired by the items we produce on the farm. We are open for lunch starting at 11 a.m., Thursday through Monday and on Saturday and Sunday we also serve breakfast starting at 9.

We have been busy working in our new kitchen at the farm. Pictured here Paupiettes (pork stuffed with sausage and wrapped in pancetta) and bacon and egg ravioli.

Our ewe Snickers and her triplets enjoying a beautiful day out in the pasture. Chicken coops all lined up neatly behind them with hens dotting the landscape. I love looking out and seeing all the animals enjoying the green grass. It's the way it should be.

Cuteness overload at 8 Hands Farm. Lambing season will soon draw to a close with over 80 lambs born so far. It's been an exhausting month but these little lambs are so worth the effort and of course so photogenic.
