As per our earlier post we are opening this Thursday 5/7/2020. I was asked what safety precautions are we using to keep everyone safe. There are a number of things we will be doing at the shop to keep our customers and staff safe during this time. Actually evaluating this and getting supplies to do this properly was a big reason we delayed our opening. ... -All staff will be wearing masks and gloves. -We have put down social distancing markers. -We are asking patrons to please wait outside until a staff member motions them in so we limit the number of customers in the store at one time. -all take home items will need to be ordered from a staff member and the staff will get them from the back freezer to limit unnecessary contact with our display freezer. -By not doing cones we eliminate the need for contact between staff and patrons. -our outdoor seating will not be available until a lot of the controls and social distancing rules lift. -Counters will be sanitized between each patron. We want all of our customers and staff to enjoy a fun and safe experience at Abbott’s Frozen Custard of Fairport
