Our summer remedial workshops for reading, writing, and math are open to registration! The workshops are carefully designed by a team of educators with special education, academic literacy, and educational psychology backgrounds. Our summer remedial workshops aim to pick up where your teachers left off, keeping students engaged and learning even when they aren’t in your classrooms. What We’ll Do... - Work directly with teachers to adapt their curriculum - Help students catch up with their peers - Teach helpful habits to make learning easier - Adapt our teaching methods to fit each student’s needs - Provide personalized attention and feedback For more information, please contact our office!

Let’s face it: getting kids to read and write on their own can be a struggle, especially when classes end and summer begins. So many kids end up losing important skills when they aren't in the classroom, causing them to fall behind their grade's standards. Let our teachers at ABLE make sure your child doesn’t lose the school year's momentum by enrolling them in one of our small group Summer Reading and Writing Workshops. Our passionate teachers will not only help them relear...n and reinforce what they’ve done during the school year, but we'll make sure they’ll start September off on the right foot by reviewing the skills they'll be taught in the fall. If your student needs a boost in reading comprehension or a fine-tuning of their essay skills, we’ll help them get the most from their work and keep them ahead of the game, even when they’re not in school! Beyond THRILLED to share the news.... Our student got ACCEPTED to MIT as a class of 2025!! He joined ABLE in his sophomore year and successfully completed ABLE's best of the best programs: the SAT summer intensive camp (and he received an amazing score on the first try) and the college consulting program (which helped him prepare EVERYTHING....from his college essays to the interview). We're so excited to announce that one of our Pathfinder students got first place in the Albany Brain Bee last month! The Bee is a neuroscience competition for teenagers that challenges them to apply their academic abilities to the medical field, being asked questions on brain function, anatomy, and more. Our student worked with both of the Doctors Chung to prepare for the big day, reviewing material and studying the brain for the chance to really prove herself. And prove hers...elf she did! We're so privileged to get to work with her these past few weeks, and we're happy to say she enjoyed the experience too! Submission for ABLE's new student magazine is OPEN!! All students who were registered at ABLE Enrichment in 2020 (ANY class, including SAT and College Consulting) are eligible to submit their own original work (essays, stories, poems, photos, art, etc.) for consideration. Submissions are due by MARCH 1st!!
