Carpenters Exclusive - David Pomeranz Carpenters Interview Today marks 26 years since the Carpenters recording of "Tryin' To Get The Feeling Again" was released... as a single in the UK. To celebrate this a brand new interview I did with the writer of the song himself, David Pomeranz, is here for you to read. It contains never before heard details behind the song, recording and tour details. David has had songs performed by many artists including Barry Manilow, Bette Midler, Freddie Mercury, Missy Elliott, Donna Summer, John Denver & the Muppets and of course the Carpenters! As well as his own recording career. I spoke with David on zoom on the 4th of December and here now is some exciting details about the song and the Carpenters that we have never heard before.
