Over the last weekend, the teaching group of the Helms Medical Institute and Acus Foundation began its year long teaching of the principles of acupuncture. I was proud to be a part of the effort to bring acupuncture care to our Veterans and Wounded soldiers and airmen and women. I have been a senior instructor of both groups for six years. We feel we can reduce the use of narcotics by 50%! We also believe that immediate use of acupuncture can reduce the incidence of PTSD. More later . . .http://acusfoundation.org/

Next weekend our Acus Foundation teaching group will start the year long process of introducing acupuncture to the Nellis Air Force Base Family Medicine Residency. I am proud to be a part of that teaching program. See the Acus website for more information.
