We were a little late celebrating Pop-pop's (Brian's) birthday due to the maple syrup making. It's his favorite time of the year!! So Charlotte decided he woul...d want a rainbow cake with sprinkles. Of course we ate the cake in the sap house among empty 55gallons drums waiting their turn to get filled. It smells delicious this time of year. We're at it again boiling tonight, working thru everything we collected last night and today. Pumps are still running and we'll be back at it tomorrow.
