The best part of living on campus is the companionship. Right now, outside guests aren't allowed in the dorms, and people might be afraid or not able to visit their loved ones and friends so having a close knit dorm where you regularly see people in the halls and you have friends to talk to in the lounge and laundry room, it makes these isolating times a little less lonely. Especially for those residents like me who are from out of state, or too far from home to return very often, and for some, not even for holidays, the friends we make in the dorms mean so much to us feeling like we've found a second home.
