Our staff and students are excited about our newly installed water bottle filler. Not only is this an extra effort in our COVID-19 precautions but also helps us reduce plastic bottle consumption.

WE HAD A GREAT FIRST DAY!!!! Staff and students were both blessed today as we returned to instruction in the building since March 13 2020. Here is a glimpse of our day. My apologies I missed out on our lower grades. Be on the lookout for those tomorrow.

ACS Parents, Just a quick note of new info. If you use the bus for morning transportation. You have to do a quick temp check at home before getting on the bus. Children must read below 100 degrees Fahrenheit in order to ride. Also masks must be worn on the bus. On another note. We had a great first day back. Thanks to all our families for making the restart possible.... Thanks again for all your patience and understanding as we navigate these uncharted waters. Blessings, Mr. Akey

COVID safety measures in place. ACS set to launch for the 2020-2021 school year. This marks our 53rd year. We are blessed and excited to have our students back.

Dear ACS Families, In your emails are the school supply lists for Mrs. Vincent, Mr. Akey and Mr. Hodgson. We are excited to once again be opening up to on-site instruction on September 8th. I wanted to follow up on a few items just as a reminder for everyone. 1) Your child will need a mask to wear on the bus and into the building. The mask may be removed once the student has had their temperature check and are in their desk area. 2) We will have our touch less bottle filling... station up and running. Please send a reusable bottle for your student to use as the water fountain drinking bubbler is out of service. 3) Details for music lessons this year are still being worked out. If you are interested in lessons for your student please let us know via email as soon as possible. Other details are still in the works and I should have more information coming soon. Until then we here at ACS hope you are enjoying the remainder of your summer break. Mr. Akey
