"This is what Christmas- the Bible- is all about! God was in Christ, reconciling 'the world to Himself'." . Even if the message was short- it wasn't short of impact! Wasn't the entirety of yesterday just amazing? From the message to the worship to the winter wonderland outside- let us not forget, however, as Pastor Gregg said, what Christmas is really all about! At Christmas, we focus on the baby, but that baby grows up into a man- not to just be a good teacher or a helpful rabbi, but to become an offering for our sin. The story begins with a baby in the manger, and ends as a man bleeding on a cross.

"Do you really want Jesus at the center of your life? Do you really want to reach those that are in your neighborhood?" . Our young adult Marissa asked us those two questions last night during encounter service and gave examples of how her actions speak about Jesus and who he is when she can't talk about Jesus in her everyday life as a public school teacher. If you missed it, there's still one more week of our young adult series! Next Wednesday at 7PM, we hope to see you there!

Operation Christmas Child continues this week! Have you picked up your boxes yet? What kind of exciting things will you fill them with this year? Be sure to drop your boxes off on November 15th so they can be shipped out to the Samaritan's Purse in time to make a trip to a child around the world for Christmas!

Children's church has some amazing volunteers who devote their time to teaching children of all ages about the Word of God- even if they have to do it letter by letter! There's always room for more- so make sure to sign your kids up for Sunday's 9AM service, and sign yourself up to volunteer in Children's Church while you're there (contact [email protected] for more information)

Congratulations to Pastor Dylan Johnson for his appointment to the role of Mission Church Youth Pastor starting in January 2021! We look forward to his dynamic leadership over our youth ministry. Also, many thanks to Pastor Sandy for filling that role temporarily (we can't wait to have you back as our Discipleship Pastor!).

We celebrated our Pastoral team this Sunday as well! We love each and every one of our pastors and we're thankful for them every month- not just during October! Thank you for all of the hard work and dedication you put into The Mission Church! We love and appreciate you!
