Not all the fun at A Horse’s Friend is for the kids! Our guests at Adult Camp had a wonderful evening grooming, walking, and riding. We are scheduling more Adult Camps in the near future as this one SOLD OUT! Stay tuned!

Trail-riding services will be suspended from October 1st thru November 30th for hunting season. We would like to offer ring riding and fun in lieu of trails if anyone is interested, just give us a call. Same cost and time. Regular youth programing is ongoing.

We still have a few horses available for winter lease. Thank you to those who already reached out and were paired with a horse. Please call if you are interested.

Reservations are still being taken for our first Halloween event at our new home. Please call to schedule this experience for your child, ages 3 and up.

The costumes are being made, the decorating is underway, and the horses are excited to meet the families at our Halloween Fundraiser. There is still room to sign up your child for this experience which includes a pony ride, pumpkin decorating and farm trick or treat walk. Please call Jessica Furber to reserve.

Volunteer training and group work tonight at the barn

Mrs. Hopiavuori's class had the unique and unexpected opportunity to meet two horses during recess last week. Some children were so excited because this was the first horse they had ever seen up close!

Great day at the barn for a beautiful fall trail ride. These program kids loved their trail walk on their horses. Thank you Jessica Furber and Erin Murphy for providing this fun learning experience.

Matthew and Toni were in East Rochester today with Bermuda and Whiskey. Making connections and spreading the good word about our program. Thank you to this community for being so welcoming.

Thank you John Alfieri and the Town/Village of East Rochester for hosting our first event at Edmund-Lyon Park. The community was so welcoming and our youth volunteers got to share with participants their experience with the program. Thank you Whiskey and Bermuda for giving these kids this opportunity.
