Covid-19 Procedures The health and well-being of our patients, community, and their families remains our top priority. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are temporarily limiting our services to emergency care. Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA) and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Dr. Sheiner is on call and utilizing strict screening, sanitation, and safety protocols in order to keep our ...patients safe. We have heightened already stringent safety standards and installed new air filtration systems to effectively trap and reduce airborne bacteria, mold spores and particles that carry viruses. All patients WILL be screened for fever prior to entering the office: When you visit for emergency care, we ask you to remain outside the office and call us when you have arrived. We will text when the previous patient has left and the room is ready. A team member will meet you at our front door and perform a Non-Contact infrared Temperature Scan. If your temperature is 99 or higher, we will recommend you seek care at a local emergency room. In order to best protect you, our office, and other patients, we ask you NOT to visit our office if you have ANY signs of cold, flu, coughing, sneezing, etc.

Teledentistry refers to the use of telehealth systems and methodologies in dentistry, when the patient is in one physical location and the dentist delivers the dental services in another location via live video.

The practice of Dr. Alan Sheiner DDS, FACP is now utilizing Telehealth. We have implemented teledentistry in order to provide the best possible care with social distancing. Telehealth encompasses a broad variety of technologies and tactics to deliver virtual medical, health, and education services. Telehealth is not a specific service, but a collection of means to enhance care and education delivery.
