Kimdo Bethel Boykin current trainer at Albany Parks boxing. Kimdo started boxing when he was 14 years old with Coach Jerrick and not soon after was the Silver Gloves National champion. Currently Kimdo is not only giving back to the gym that brought him so much success, he is a professional boxer with a 6-1 record. Kimdo also served as an alternate for the United States Olympic Boxing team. Corey Landy also had a stellar amateur boxing career under Jerrick. Fighting at an elite national level, Corey was ranked #2 in the nation during his career. Although could have gone on to a professional boxing career, Corey decided to use his knowledge of the sport to become a trainer at Albany Parks Boxing.

The gym wouldn't be where it is today without Coach Jerrick. Throughout all the changes that have occurred with this gym one thing has remained a constant; Jerriick Jones. Not only has he trained and mentored 11 national champions, hundreds of state and regional champions. He has also trained hundreds of college graduates who started in his program as kids. A graduate of Niagara University. He is a true treasure to Albany and a role model to all who have been lucky enough to enter the gym.
