My name is Stephen Nawotniak and I am a mental wellness coach at Alden Counseling and Wellness. The perspective that we face our challenges with can make a big difference in how we face and live with it. I am an Occupational Therapist and Certified Peer Specialist successfully living with a bipolar condition. I find there is a difference in relating with my bipolar experience as a condition vs illness and explain it in this video. By no means do I share this to minimize the symptom's affect on a person or the people around them. I merely offer it as a perspective to take to address it from a more empowered place.
