Less than 5 more months until summer

Many of our fairgoers have fond memories of Lee Gridley, Past Director of the Domestics Building for 16 years and Legislative Liason to the Fair Board for 6 years. She will be greatly missed!

Shout out to all our livestock, dairy and equine exhibitors that put hours of time and talent into caring for their animals all the way to their toes!

Helping to celebrate the life of Leonard Watson, and his many contributions to the community. Leonard was a volunteer and was a past fair board director in charge of models and museum including the very popular steam model display.

From upgrades to the water system, to fresh coats of paint, to fundraising the fair board and volunteers have been working actively to make improvements for next year. More photos to come!

We’ll never forget those volunteers that gave their lives, those that were taken and those that fought for our freedom.

In honor of National Dog Day, we would love to recognize the hours of work our youth exhibitors put into preparing their animals for the Allegany County 4H Program Dog Show typically held the day before the fair. Wishing all our furry friends a joyful National Dog Day!

Despite the fairs being cancelled, The Great New York State Fair is hosting a number of contests including this build your own 5# butter sculpture contest in support of the dairy industry!
