Common Summer Rashes: These are some common rashes that can occur in the Summer time: Poison Ivy: Touching any part of the poison ivy plant can cause red, swollen skin, blisters and severe itching, sometimes within hours after exposure. ... Heat Rash: Develops when blocked sweat ducts trap perspiration under your skin. Swimmer’s Itch: Is an itchy rash caused by certain parasites that normally live on waterfowl and freshwater snails. These parasites enter the water on sunny days. The parasites can burrow into your skin causing red itchy raised spots on the skin. Lyme Disease: Is a Tick-borne illness that causes a distinctive rash, flu like symptoms and aching joints. The rash begins as a small red bump and expands over time. Might even resemble a bull’s eyes. Chigger Bites: Are tiny mites found in tall grass and weeds. If you brush against infested plants, chiggers can attach onto your skin leaving clusters on itchy pink bumps on the skin. https://www.allergyasthma.center/ #Rashes #SummerStings #Itchy #Redness #SwollenSkin #Blisters #Bumps #DrPatel #DrQamar
