Allergy & Asthma Diagnostic Office 11.11.2020

Health & Safety is our #1 priority at the Allergy & Asthma Diagnostic Office. We continue to follow guidelines set by the NYS Department of Health. We wanted to share with you, the recent upgrades made in our facility, to help keep all that enter our building healthy. We recently upgraded our HVAC system to include a medical grade Intellipure air purification system. This system works to remove viral and bacterial particles down to 0.007 microns from the air. The recent anal...ysis showed a 99.77% improvement of air quality! We are excited for this added safety measure and will continue to make the necessary changes/updates in order to keep our patients & staff healthy during these challenging times. Thank you for your continued cooperation to assist us in keeping the Allergy & Asthma Diagnostic Office a safe and healthy facility for all those that enter. See more

AADO COVID 19 UPDATE 4/17/2020 As of April 17th, 2020, Governor Cuomo issued an executive order requiring all people (over age 2) in New York State to wear masks or face coverings in public. This order applies to our office. Our staff will be following these guidelines to help ensure the well-being of others. It will be expected that anyone over age 2 entering our building will be required to wear a face covering. Refusal to do so will result in being asked to leave the bui...lding. **Unfortunately, we do not have an extra supply of masks to hand out Our office continues to remain open in order to serve our patients including telemedicine. Our number one goal remains to keep our patients and staff healthy during this growing pandemic. Temporary adjustments have been needed to be made in order to accommodate CDC guidelines, by having fewer people in the office at a time. Please see below for important updates that may impact future booked appointments: * Please be advised that office, OIT, SHOT appointments are currently reserved for the patient and 1 caregiver. No other children should be brought to appointment during the current health crisis. If this policy is unable to be followed, you will be asked to reschedule. *TELEMEDICINE: Our office is offering telemedicine for select patients in need of a follow up appointment. Please contact the office if interested in this alternative. This will be at the provider’s discretion and will need to be addressed with the triage nurse prior to scheduling. ** ALL patients (including allergy shots patients) & their caregiver will have their temperature taken upon entering the building. If the patient/caregiver is found to have a temperature of 100 degrees or higher, you will be asked to leave the building and call into the office to reschedule. *ALLERGY SHOT PATIENTS: Allergy shot patients should park in the spots marked Reserved to the right of the main entrance. While we understand allergy immunotherapy is a very important treatment for many of our patients, availability will be significantly decreased for the time being. You may be advised to come for your shots less frequently during this time. These appointments will be at a first come, first serve basis which may mean having to schedule out further than usual. Please continue to visit our website for any updates. Thank you for your continued support. Be well, Be safe. Allergy & Asthma Diagnostic Office

AADO UPDATE 3/31/20 Our office continues to remain open in order to serve our patients. Our number one goal remains to keep our patients and staff healthy during this growing pandemic. Temporary adjustments have needed to be made in order to accommodate CDC guidelines, by having fewer people in the office at a time. Please see below for important updates that may impact future booked appointments: -Only 1 provider will be seeing patients, per day, in the office. This may impa...ct future booked appointments. Update regarding Allergy & Asthma Diagnostic Office: Our number 1 goal remains to keep our patients and staff healthy during these trying times. In order to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and keep our office open to serve our patients’ needs, we will be temporarily limiting the volume of patients that will be seen in our office. -We will continue seeing patients scheduled for routine follow-ups and biologic injections (Xolair, Nucala, Fasenra & Dupixent) in an effort to ...keep our patients healthy. -Allergy shot patients will temporarily be unable to receive shots. This includes any patients currently receiving shots out of office that may be in need of new serum. (Please check back for updates regarding when allergy shot appointments will resume) -If a patient, or the adult accompanying the patient, is sick or exhibiting a cough, you will be asked to reschedule your appointment. -Our triage nurse will be available to answer any questions or concerns you have regarding medical related issues. Please be advised that due to the high volume of calls being received, it may take longer than usual to have your phone calls returned. Please be aware we are doing everything we can to continue to serve our patients and we thank you for your understanding and patience during this difficult time.
