Today my client came in looking to rid herself of the existing blonde in her hair. She let me know, she was looking to go a bit darker, but keeping that rich warmth with red undertones. I’d like to call this application simple but effective. THE DRIP EFFECT I can’t even begin to explain how excited I was to do this project today!! Today’s process started with a quick clipper buzz to his sides, root touch up w/ lightener, pre-toning, and the split color application. My wonderful client also allowed me to have fun with literal, HAIR PAINTING- using our Paul Mitchell POP XG haircolor and a paintbrush! For my first design, I can’t be too mad. (Although I did have my amazing classmate Angelo, outline the init...ial drip design for me.) I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t the definition of obsessed, with this final product; color is without a doubt- one of my favorites areas of hairdressing. SUNSET COLOR MELT I’m so pleased, I was able to find the time, to finally get Miss Deb’s transformation finished!
