Kinney Drug in Little Falls has a wonderful program going! They have been very generous in including residents of Alpine and we would like to thank them for all they do! Please think of helping Kinneys by making a donation for the program or ask for a tag from their tree!

Window visits We understand that this is not the easiest time with having glass between our families and our residents. But seeing these smiles and the love keeps everyone strong together. Thank you to the many understanding and compassionate families like this that help enrich the lives of their loved ones that we also hold so near and dear

Visitation Update Once visitation can begin there are strict guidelines we must follow. Just a few of the highlights:... 1. Visitation should be limited to outdoor areas as determined in our plan. 2. Under certain limited circumstances, as defined by the facility, visitation can be inside if.. 3. Visitation strictly prohibited in resident rooms or care areas. 4. Staff must be present to allow for help with visitation and monitoring of visitation 5. Visitors screened, use PPE (personal protective equipment), wear a facemask at all times over nose and mouth. Residents must also wear a face mask. 6. Visitors must maintain social distancing from their loved one, other residents and staff. 7. No more that 10% of residents shall have visitors at any one time, only two visitors at a visit and all visits must be scheduled. ( we are small so will not be able to do that many) 8. Residents in a 14-day quarantine (usually new admissions or residents that must go to an essential physician appointment outside of the building) are not eligible for visits. Other than window, Skype or face time and phone calls. 9. If any visitor fails to adhere to the visitation directions of the NYS Department of Health and facility protocols they will be prohibited from visiting for the duration of the COVID-19 state declared public health emergency. We will keep you posted as to when we can open, our hours and how to make an appointment. Thank you for your patience and we look forward to seeing our families again! Of interest in this Department of Health Directive; Communal dining and hairdresser services remain suspended and the facility must continue to refrain from sending residents to non-medically necessary trips outside the facility until further notice. It has been an unprecedented adventure since the middle of March and we would like to thank our hard working and patient staff for keeping our residents safe, and the families for their patience and understanding of how difficult this has been for all of us. We are impressed and amazed at the resilience of the residents, their patience, their cooperation and interest in being a part of our team and care giving family. STAY SAFE AND BE SMART!
