Today marks the 32nd anniversary of our dad, Thurlow Woodcock's passing to eternal rest. We wholeheartedly say, thank you for your vision, design, and building of the Alpine Sport Shop at its current location: the iconic ski chalet. Your knowledge, work ethic, grounded strength, and faith we still feel today. We are also in awe of Dot, our 97-year-old mom, and her strength to carry on throughout life's changing horizons. As a family we have been blessed with good parenting ...and jointly say a big "thank you." The man, the myth, the legend: Klaus Obermeyer is 100 today! Cathy & Jack had the honor of attending the big birthday bash in person and we threw a party in his honor at the shop. Wishing the happiest of birthdays to one of the most influential people in the ski industry. Thank you, Klaus, for being such an incredible and inspirational person! We all wish to #BeLikeKlaus!
