The American Legion Henry Cornell Post 234

It is with a heavy heart and deep sympathy that I have to tell you that our dearly loved member Joe Scheinder has passed away. Joe has been an asset to our post from the day he entered in 2015. Joe was 86 and a Legion member for 66 years. Joe loved his family and was proud to speak of them always. Joe was also a member of the Korean War Vets. Joe has taken on many projects for our post and was always recruiting new members. We will all miss Joe Sincerely Commander Dave, a friend of Joe Scheinder.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Today is the 245th anniversary of the United States Navy!

Route 50 would like to thank Billie (President) and Ruth Anne for dropping off a donation from the American Legion Auxiliary Post 234 towards the Homeless Veterans Dinners thank you all so much.

Henry Cornell Post 234 bar is now open with restrictions. Summer hours are as follows; Monday-Thursday 12:00-6:00 Friday and Saturday 12:00-8:00 Sunday 12:00-5:00.

The Henry Cornell American Legion Post 234 Bar will reopen Wednesday June 17th at 12:00 noon. We will be following the N.Y. State guidelines. In the down time we have given the inside and outside a fresh new look and wish everyone a very pleasant experience on your return. See you Wednesday!!
