Hello wonderful souls! How are we doing on this snowy day? Brrrrr....it’s cold. The days are so short, but the good news....we start gaining in 11 days! Yeahhhh. How are all of you doing with the holidays? I know...it’s not so easy. People are barely hugging. House parties and get together a aren’t happening. The world is coming to a slow stall again. All I can say is find your inner peace right now. Focus in on what is most important. Keep finding the magic. It’s out there. ...Even if it’s to take a drive around the neighborhoods. It seems like I am seeing more lights this year. Be the light and share it with others! Okay so let me see which book I’m pulling from the shelf today...Positive Thinking works for me: SHOW GRATITUDE FOR ALL THINGS Have gratitude for things large and small, every day. A gratitude practice reminds you how much you have, even alongside all that you received to be lacking. Be grateful that you have a warm bed to sleep in, that you were close enough to nature that you can touch and smell grass, that clean water flows through your faucet, that you get to spend another day with love ones. That you can see the world through your eyes, that you wake up each day. What are you grateful for? How might you mind set shift if you wrote a daily gratitude list? Great question there! What are you truly grateful for? When I say my prayers, I always say, thank you for what I have and not what I don’t have. I want the universe to know that. So many people are going without. How grateful we should be that we have something. Some say to write 3 things you’re grateful each day and post them somewhere so you can be reminded every day of how rich your life truly is. Like the picture in my wall in the massage area says Begin Each Day With A Grateful Heart. If you you do...nothing else will matter. I’m off to finish reading my required reading for the week. Has been interesting. The writer is a Buddhist so she does give a different perspective on dying.
