This past weekend, EMT Khalil passed the New York State Paramedic Exam, capping off a year long course with hundreds of hours of clinical requirements on top of the classroom studies. Khalil is the first AMR employee from his class to test following the COVID delays which forced the classroom studies online and delayed much of their clinical work. In the coming weeks, Khalil will begin the final phase of his training and will clear as a Paramedic on the road at AMR Rochester where he will continue on the high quality of care the citizens of Rochester have come to expect. Congratulations!!

Today, AMR Operations and Communications Supervisor Troy celebrates 20 years with the company. Troy started back in 2000 with what was then Rural/Metro Medical Services and has risen through the years spending time as a senior leader of our employee union and most recently spending the last few years working in our Communications Office as a senior member of our leadership team. Troy's contributions to the company, to our colleagues, and to the citizens we serve are far too great to measure. Thank you Troy for the last 20 years and here is to many more ahead of you.

AMR Rochester would like to thank EMT Mike Everts, owner of Russell Ice Cream, for having our crews over last night for a complimentary Ice Cream. Very generous and a nice relief from a busy day in the City. Thank you!!

With all people safe and accounted for from this mornings 4-Alarm fire, AMR Rochester Paramedic Julie and EMT Brittany turned their attentions to Draco, a 10 month old Pitbull pulled from the fire. WHAM 13 news was on site to catch our crews, just doing what they do, caring for all family members.

Today concludes Telecommunicators Week, and AMR Rochester would like to thank all of our Communications personnel who work tirelessly day and night to ensure our crews on the road are safe, and make sure all our customers needs are met. Our dispatchers are hands down some of the best in the business and deserve all the recognition they can get. Thank you all for a job well done.
