HAPPY THANKSGIVING FROM THE OFFICERS AND MEMEBRS OF THE AMSTERDAM ELKS LODGE #101.

Prior to our crisis this past August, our lodge was so pleased to present a check from the Gratitude Grant for $2,000.00, to the Amen Place Soup Kitchen, to help them purchase this AWESOME walk-in Freezer/Cooler! Congrats! The work you do for our community is nothing less than Stellar!

Thank You to the Amen Place Soup Kitchen and their wonderful staff, from the Amsterdam Elks Lodge #101, for their generous donation from the Brooks BBQ they hosted to benefit our lodge, which will help to offset our crisis.

November is National Veterans Remembrance Month!

The day was sunny and warm, but ohh soo bittersweet...... Lodge Members, friends and a team of Lowe’s Hero’s came together to help clean out our lodge after the devastating Arson Fire back in August of this year. A HUGE thank you, goes out to the Amsterdam Lowe’s Hero’s Program and their volunteers, who brought in cleaning supplies, gloves, packing crates/materials and power washers. They worked very hard for most of the day to help our Lodge clean out, organize and sa...lvage items to keep and/or sell. Also, thank you to Amsterdam Hannaford, Amsterdam Target and Amsterdam Dunkin Donuts for donating coffee, water, soda and breakfast items for the workers. A Tip of the Antlers goes out to our many lodge members who worked very hard and gave up their day for our Lodge! This was a giant step for us on our journey to a new Lodge!

What a wonderful day and crowd for the Brooks BBQ at the Amen Place Kitchen in Amsterdam, NY!..... IT WAS A SELL OUT!!! Many, many thanks to the Amen Kitchen and their crew who worked very hard to put this event on ! Everyone at the Amsterdam Elks Lodge #101 are very grateful for the hard work you all did to benefit our lodge !
