Dear Ananda Ashram Friends, As the holidays approach, our hearts are warm with so much appreciation for all of the support you have given to us over these past years and months by visiting the Ashram, getting involved, or by your donations. Your engagement is what gives us the life force to continue to stay operationally strong for all of these decades, and especially this past year! We wish we could have open doors to connect with all of you during this time to provide a saf...e and sacred space to rest in the silent awareness that is you. At this time, you may know we are only able to offer short term retreats for those wanting to stay one month or more. I am writing to you today with gratitude and love and I hope you all feel it. As the Chairperson of the Yoga Society of New York, Inc. Membership Committee I am also reaching out to you to invite you all to become members. Membership is a very significant and mutually beneficial relationship that supports this unique retreat center. In becoming a member, you also support the important work of the dissemination of the teachings of the ancient truths as translated and explained through the writings of Shri Brahmananda Sarasvati. Of course, there are varied benefits that come with a Yoga Society of New York, Inc. Membership. Some are discounts that can be applied to your future lodging, the Gift Shop and even certain workshops. Also, there are free online classes and a few special gifts, but most importantly you become part of a community of devotees to the truth. There are two levels of Membership, Annual and Lifetime. Click here for more details on becoming a YSNY Member. One more suggestion is that if you are already a member, a wonderful Holiday gift idea could be the gift of Membership to someone you love. This is the kind of meaningful gift that could last a lifetime. Please send us an email if you are so inclined. United in the Self we will lift each other up during this trying winter season filled with so many life lessons. We hope you choose to become part of our Ashram community, and we look forward to seeing many of you online for some of our wonderful weekly classes and programs and for sure next summer, when hopefully we will be waiting for you with open arms on the sacred grounds of Ananda Ashram.
