Welcome, Dr. Marshall As part of a continual and comprehensive focus on excellence in resident and patient care and services, we are continuing to grow our "team" of talented on-site medical providers. The addition of new clinicians enables us to expand and deepen our clinical capabilities and continue to provider ever better care to all we serve. We are very pleased to announce a new exceptional member of the medical provider team: ... Janeen Marshall, M.D. has joined us at Andrus on Hudson as a full-time physician and will be a core part of our medical services team. Please see her biography below: Dr. Marshall graduated from Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA in 2012 and completed her Internal Medicine Residency at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She continued at Mount Sinai for her fellowship in Geriatrics, which she completed in 2016. Upon completion of fellowship she joined the faculty as Assistant Professor in the Brookdale Department of Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine. Her experience spans across the institution from inpatient and ambulatory internal medicine and geriatric services and have allowed her to navigate the system efficiently in order to help lead this innovative model of care. Her clinical and research interests are in Medical Education, Clinical Informatics, Geriatric Hospitalization, Advance Care Planning, End of life care, Caregiver Burden, Complex Provider Communications and Innovative Models of Care. Her personal interests include singing, cooking and baking, arts and crafts and spending time with her family especially her little baby girl Maisley.

Happy Mother's Day! The visitation restrictions make this Mother's Day a very difficult one for families that would otherwise be visiting their loved ones on this occasion. We want you to know that our Andrus on Hudson team is working extraordinarily hard to make this day a special one for all of the mothers at AoH.... Our Culinary Institute of America trained Chef and Food Services Director, Daniel Serafini, prepared the menu for Mother’s Day lunch, and is as follows : -Roast turkey breast with apple and cranberry chutney -Marinated roasted asparagus -Baked whole yams -Triple cream red velvet cake **Substitutions will be made as clinically necessary and requested Community Life Staff will be serving wine from a specially prepared tablecloth covered rolling cart and Andrus on Hudson provided Mother’s Day cards and flowers will be delivered, too.
