They’re charging!! Thanks to heidi wilcox and Corey at O3 waterworks for their help in obtaining the Enozo professional spray bottles for my team. These create Aqueous Ozone on demand, and help create a more sustainable way to clean and sanitize. I can’t wait to distribute them. #saratogasprings #saratogacounty #CapitalRegion #adirondacks

PSA: Now that everyone is an expert at Disinfection, so much so that I see ads all the time for sprayers, let me alert you to a few things: 1. All disinfectants... are different. Spraying alcohol into the air as a mist to disinfect is so wrong - it causes damage to your lungs and mucus membranes. It is absolutely NOT OK to breathe. Alcohol is for surface disinfection only. Read the directions for each disinfectant. They are ALL DIFFERENT. 2. Electrostatic sprayers are cool, but one needs to be trained in them. Certain sprayers use only certain disinfectants - you can’t just buy any ol’ disinfectant and put it into any electrostatic sprayer and spray things down. 3. Electrostatic sprayers, foggers, misters, whatever terminology they use, are NOT THE SAME. They have different particle sizes, are used with different products, and require different applications. 4. The important thing is dwell time. One needs to make sure the disinfectant you are using REMAINS WET for the recommended time - if it dries within the recommended time, your virus or bacteria is not dead and it was a waste of time and money, and a gamble with your health. Read directions. 5. DISINFECTION IS A MOMENT IN TIME. Once someone touches a surface, it’s no longer disinfected. Clean and disinfect often. 6. Be wary of products saying they have a 30-day or more period of disinfection. Microban may work for 24 hours. There really is no independent data confirming products last longer than that. The only data that supports products that disinfect for 30-60-90 days are from the company that makes those claims. Wait for and look for the independent data. 7. Use common sense. Wash your hands. Washing your hands AND using hand sanitizer is redundant. When you’re washing your hands, wash them well, with soap, including your wrists, for 20 seconds. Rinse well. Hand sanitizer is for use when you cannot wash your hands. That is all. Carry on.
