The Arcade Police Department is saddened to hear of the loss of Trooper Brooke Perkins. We had the distinct honor and privilege of working with and being assisted by Trooper Perkins on several occasions throughout the years. Your dedication to protecting the community and assisting adjoining law enforcement agencies was unparalleled. Not only was Trooper Perkins an exceptional Trooper, but a great role model, mentor, and a close friend to the members of the Arcade Police Department. To the members of the NYSP family, we are sorry for the loss of your fellow Trooper. To Brooke's family, we're sorry for your loss. We will continue to keep you in our thoughts and prayers as you go through this difficult time. We're here for you if you need anything. RIP Brooke, you will not be forgotten.

It is with a heavy heart that the Arcade Police Department announces the passing of retired Officer David Wells. Dave retired in 1998 after 20 years of service to our Village. He later went on to serve 10 more years in the Mount Dora Police Department in Florida. Dave received many awards during his career, including the first and only Medal of Valor awarded to an Arcade Police Officer. The members of the Arcade Police Department will be donating to Animal Friends of Wyoming County in Dave’s memory. ****UPDATE**** 07/19/20**** Bailey has returned home safe and sound. Thanks everyone for sharing and keeping an eye out for him. **Update 7/13/20** Still Missing. Missing from Park St. since approximately 3pm on 07-11-20. The dogs name is Bailey, he's a male and fixed mini Australian Shepherd if located please contact the Arcade Police Department 585-492-3111.
