ASI Renovations

We took down a nice 500 square-foot CertainTeed drop tile ceiling. Tiles are 2 foot by 2 foot model S h m - 154 with bioshield. I hate to see it go to waste it's in very good condition but at some point soon it's going on Freecycle or something. Like to get paid for handling couple hundred and will deliver it. Or will trade for some tools or something useful

Design by Barradas & Partners Architects

First look at new restaurant: Sushi Osaka. This is a design-build project. We were assisted on the project by Barradas and Partners Architects, Lamorte Electric, AtoZ Remodeling, All Stone and Tile, John Harty, Brian Marsh, and Hull heating and plumbing. Their grand opening is tonight at 113 East State Street on the Commons in Ithaca. The former Le Commons Bistro location.

This was another of the 3 microgrid projects we did. This one (Syracuse) and Binghamton won. Schenectady did not. 83 started, I had 3, 11 went to the next stage. We got these 2 to Stage 2. $1m grant each, from NYSERDA.

We moved WVBR from their old location which was rather small and archaic to a new location in Collegetown that was more spacious and of higher grade. New location is intersection of Buffalo and Stewart. Next to the Carriage House. Anthony having about 9 years of radio and technology experience helped secure this project which he managed. This was a great project. Subcontractors include: Sherpa Technologies, Lamorte Electrical, Precision HVAC, Spec Consulting, City of Ithaca, Rypkema Construction, FLTG, and then ASI employees.
