The holiday season can be challenging; we are pulled in so many directions and there is a lot of pressure to make magic and miracles for our children. Here’s the thing: YOU are enough. You do not need to attend all the Zoom holiday cocktail hours or family cookie exchanges or set up creative elf dioramas every night. If it makes you happy? Great! If it is draining and stressful? Let. It. Go. ESPECIALLY this year, new parenthood is hard. You do not need to explain away why you do not want to do anything extra.
