Wow! Twelve Years this month. I have never worked at any job this long. I am so proud of the accomplishments that we've had. Not many businesses can say that they have been a part of TWO national television programs. But we can! We've even connected with people around the world who have contacted us after seeing our episode of "Bakery Boss". I've been fortunate to be able to travel to many of the other bakeries that were also featured and shared experiences. Not many... people can say that they've made incredible friends who started as customers, but I can. The journey hasn't always been easy. We've struggled, we've made mistakes, we've cried, we've had melt downs, but we're still here, 12 years later. I am so very proud of what this business stands for. We've endured the floods of 2011 and provided to those in the shelters. We've been attacked by groups trying to bring us down, only to make us stronger. We've hit the streets "Sharing The Euphoria" to front line workers during COVID-19. We've provided cakes for "Make-A-Wish" many times when reveals of granted wishes were made. We've donated products and time to BOCES, American Heart Association, Handicapped Children's Association, Broome Boys and Girls Club, American Cancer Society, Cystic Fibrosis fund raising events, Habitat for Humanity, Leukemia Society, just to name a few. I've driven cakes thousands of miles total to be a part of so many celebrations. We've had a couple of other locations, and some of the most wonderful people that worked here and helped build this business into what it is today. I miss so many of them. I'm so happy that we have stayed in touch with them and I can follow them as they continue to make their own paths. My "family" of loyal customers have been a part of seeing my two daughters get married and when my grandchildren were born. I've aged, I've grown, I've conquered, and I've stood strong. I am so incredibly thankful to the wonderful people in Broome County and outside our county as well, for all of the support, stories, love and joy that they have given me.
