We hope everyone and their families are doing well during these strange and difficult times. We want to keep all of our dancers involved and keep them moving while at home. We have begun our second week of online classes and we are so excited that we can still share our love of dance during this time. Below is our class schedule for the rest of the week. Just a reminder that this Friday February 28th is our Sock Hop fundraiser at the American Ballet Studio to kick off our 20th anniversary season. Tickets are $15 which includes entry, pizza, snacks, and drinks. There will be games, a photo booth, and a chance to win prizes for the best socks! We will also be having a bake sale as well as a raffle to win a basket full of socks, candy, and movie tickets!! Raffle tickets will be sold at the door as well as the $15 entry price. So excited that Pure Barre Bayport will be having a pop up class at the American Ballet Studio on Saturday, October 5. Sign up today and RSVP to [email protected]! Pure Barre is a series of low-impact, high intensity movements that are designed to strengthen and tone your body. Enjoy this musically driven class while you tone all your major muscles groups. Believe it or not, Nutcracker auditions are just around the corner!! Auditions for American Dance Theatre of Long Island's 19th annual production of 'The Nutcracker' will be held at the American Ballet Studio on Saturday June 15. Audition times are as follows: 11:00-12:00 Combo through Ballet 2 12:00-1:00 Ballet 3 through Pre-pointe Adv 1:00-2:30 Pointe I and Pointe II... 2:30 4:30 Pointe IV and Advanced Pointe We will be performing at Suffolk Community College Grant Campus in Brentwood on December 7 and 8. We will also be performing at Guild Hall in East Hampton on December 14 and 15. You will have a choice to perform just in the Suffolk Community College shows or choose to perform in both the Suffolk Community College and Guild Hall shows. You will determine your choice at the time of your audition. We ask that you please arrive 20 minutes prior to your audition time to fill out the proper paperwork and that a parent be present to approve your choice of venue. Please dress in proper ballet attire with your hair in a neatly pulled back bun. Please bring along your pointe shoes if you are enrolled in a pointe class as you may be asked to change into them during your audition. ADTLI's "The Nutcracker" auditions are open to the public. Join us this Friday, May 17 for our tenth annual students fundraiser as we raise money for Beautiful Me, a Hance Family Foundation. Beautiful Me is an educational, self-esteem program designed to educate females by promoting appreciation for their genuine qualities, accurate self-awareness, and the satisfaction gained by helping others. Our fundraiser will be held at James Wilson Young Middle School located at 602 Sylvan Avenue in Bayport. The performance will begin at 7:30pm... with doors opening at 7:00pm. Our students have choreographed and worked on their own pieces for the past few months and are excited to perform them as well as perform musical pieces. Tickets cost $15 and there will be refreshments and raffles being sold in the lobby. We hope to see you all there helping us raise money for this beautiful cause! We are only a few weeks away until our 10th annual benefit performance! We are excited to announce that beginning on February 15 we will be offering a 'Not Just Mommy and Me' class with Brianna Paul! This is a baby and toddler play class with moms, dads, grandparents, and all types caretakers welcome to join with their little one. This program is geared towards little ones ages 9-24 months accompanied by an adult. Together, we will develop skills for your baby through interactive movement, songs, rhymes and play. Developmental benefits: enhances... social awareness, provides sensory stimulation, builds gross motor skills, fosters language development and increases confidence. An extra bonus is while your children get to socialize, so do the adults! This is a four week session with classes being held once a week beginning on February 15. With Nutcracker season off to a great start we have exciting news to share about our upcoming performances. American Dance Theatre of Long Island's production of The Nutcracker will have a new home this year. Our four performances will be split between two weekends at two very exciting venues. We will be performing at the historic Guild Hall in Easthampton as well at the Van Nostrand Theater at Suffolk County Community College. As a company and a family, we are extremely ex...cited about expanding our audience and allowing our students to share their love of this performance with a new community as well as keeping our production local. Guild Hall, established in 1931, is a center that combines a museum, a theater, and an education space in a multidisciplinary center where an appreciation of the arts is shared by the community. Our students are also very excited to say that they will be performing on a stage where the New York City Ballet has performed on. The Guild Hall performances will be on Saturday November 17 at 2pm and 7pm. Ticket prices will be $25 as well as senior tickets priced at $20. The Van Nostrand Theater is located on the Michael J. Grant Campus at Suffolk County Community College. This spacious venue will allow for the magic of The Nutcracker to be shared with our audience. Our performances at the Van Nostrand theater will be on Saturday December 15 at 7pm and Sunday December 16 at 1pm. Ticket prices will be $25 as well as senior tickets priced at $20. SCCC students will be offered discounted tickets at $15 with student ID. Tickets may be purchased at The American Ballet Studio in person or by phone 631-472-3455.

Its that time of year again! Nutcracker auditions! Auditions for American Dance Theatre of Long Island's 2018 season will be held on Saturday August 4. Join us on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 10:00am and Sundays at 9:30am for Zumba with Lisa. This class is open to all ages and skill levels and no dance experience is required. It is $10 for this one hour, high energy workout class. Hope to see you there!
