This is no joke! Predator birds such as Hawks and owls are in full force right now. Most of their diet did not survive the freeze , so they are out hunting mo...re than usual and desperate for food. They don’t care if it’s domesticated or wild. It all tastes the same to them. We have a HUGE one that has been hanging out on the electric pole right by our backyard that has never been around before. 3 others flying over our backyard at the same time. I fully understand that they’re just trying to survive like everybody else but You’ve never seen me move puppies so fast to get them inside KEEP YOUR EYES ON THE SKY! They will swoop down even if you’re close by. Edit- even if they weigh more than 12 lbs but are on the small animal size scale- they will still attempt to pick up! Obviously hawks can’t estimate exact weight. Anything under 20 lbs is at risk!
