I met Laura, the owner of Laura's Critter Care years ago and we have been part of a wonderful pack of friends ever since. When COVID put us into a sit stay, Laura couldn’t get the custom wedding band she so desired for her wedding earlier this spring. She was patient. She knew she wanted a best in show ring and here it is: Almost 2 carats of diamonds rounds and baguettes! When Laura's long awaited ring was finished and ready for the big reveal, so was Laura. Unable to wait after getting the "It's ready" phone call, Keith, her hubby was not available at the moment, so rather than having her languish, knowing THIS was waiting for her finger, we gladly stepped in (or rather knelt in) and presented from diamond-setter to the dog-sitter for the big reveal. Best wishes to you both, we are delighted for you!!!

Mike was my gym trainer years ago and whipped me into shape before going into law enforcement. Julie aka Jewels is a special Ed teacher and upon their meeting it was love at first sight. After they faced the worst moment of their life together earlier this year (Mike was in ICU with injuries from a fire), they decided to flip it into their best year yet! And with a new house under their belts and a fur-kid to round out the basics, it was time for Mike to put a ring on her fin...ger. Oh yes, he did and "Yes" she said! Sharing the spotlight is Maverick whose antics endeared Mike into the hearts of Julie’s family. Taking advantage of a dropped lead, Maverick led Mike on rollerblades into a ‘catch me if you can’ chase on the way to one of his first dinners with Julie’s family. The result: A face plant by Mike into a soft spring lawn and a spectacularly muddy entrance! To a wonderful couple: May laughter, love and happiness always be yours! See more

Andy took a job 7.5 years ago at a wonderful company and he met a girl. She happened to be the CFO’s daughter, and he was advised to stay away from Elyse because obviously nothing good career-wise would come of it. Ignoring this advice was the best decision ever! He saw no liabilities and his risk was rewarded. Their love grew, eventually moving onto bigger and better things for them both and their future together. We now celebrate the non-hostile "takeover" of this wonderful couple, being promoted from dating status to marital merger!!!! Congratulations!

When Sylvia's favorite sapphire and diamond pendant went missing, she immediately contacted Jewelers Mutual Insurance Company. We do a lot of replacements for their customers in WNY and as always, they immediately contacted us to duplicate her AWOL treasure. We did everything from a photo alone. We custom cut the center sapphire and conjured up a way to set all those different sized baguettes to perfection. Sylvia and her hubby Don's comment upon presentation? "Better than the original!" Yes I'm kind of showing off a bit here because, yes it IS gorgeous and there may be a bit of pride showing here as well. Sorry not sorry, I think those of you who know me understand my passion to create beauty and happiness for all of you!

Cindy and her hubby are celebrating 44 years of wedded bliss in October. When we first met, Cindy wanted a bit of a re-do as her original 3 stone ring had a bit tooooooo much metal and spacing, not focused on her gorgeous diamonds. We ring-designed her precious to really show off her center diamonds and added a high decorative profile to pair up perfectly with her high sitting diamond wedding band. When she first laid eyes on her new stunner, you could see the smile through ...her mask. (OK, the squeal of joy helped me imagine it.) Downside to the at-the- counter-sans husband big reveal? Cindy could not try her new beauty on. Her hubby told her he wanted to place it on her hand for the first time, as he would marry her all over again! OK, why do I love what I do? Because of all the heartwarming stories such as this. So much love out there and so much to be grateful for. You may now, in your out loud voice exclaim "AWWWWWWWWWW". Congratulations to a wonderful couple! See more

Sometimes things can be just ‘so right’ no matter what! Heather met Chris when she was 15, they reconnected about 7 years ago and dated for the last 6 of them. Chris had always wanted to propose to Heather at the Gorge Amphitheater in Washington State during Labor Day weekend, where their favorite group, the Dave Matthews Band plays every year. They were all set, tickets purchased. and then the concert was cancelled due to COVID. Chris t was not about to lose that dream in...side of his head! While they watched old live concerts from the Gorge, he had prepared a tailgate with a cooler, backyard games and did everything to make it feel like they were there. And as Heather told us Then during the concert out of nowhere Chris got down on one knee and said I’m sorry we aren’t at the gorge, but I love you! Will you marry me?!! The answer? A resounding YES!!! Congratulations to a wonderful couple and in the words of Dave Matthews may you always sing together Our love is so right! Thank you Heather for sharing your story and for letting us be a part of it! See more

Dorian and Breeann just celebrated their 10th Anniversary!! We have had the joy to be with them through all the years starting at day one when they chose what was Breeann’s dream engagement ring. Now, 10 years of wedded bliss, job promotions and a private podiatry practice later, Dorian wanted her to know just how wonderful the ride together has been. We upgraded her original diamond cluster center to a single 1.50ct gorgeous new way to fill the center of the halo and Breeann's heart. Thank you and congrats to you both! We have loved celebrating all these years as we watched you both grow in your love and your successes!

Who is that handsome devil sporting his newest treasure of rose gold, south sea black and white pearls and diamond dangles? Why that is our beloved Thomas! He also came bearing a lovely gift for us, new signage that carries a very important message: Get your sparkle on! He got us a present because that's how he rolls. With a great eye for that unique piece always, he fell in love with this one of a kind pendant to grace his favorite chain. We love you and your exquisite taste always! And we promise to always keep our sparkle on! Thank you, Thomas.

I know we all love a good story with all the "feels" so here we go! A few years back Dawn sold us a family treasure and in turn gave the money to her son and only child, Michael, to help him purchase an engagement ring. Her ring was a special one, the push present she received when he was born 30 years ago. Last week, Michael asked if we still had the ring in our estate case. He wanted to buy it back and present it to his amazing mom as a gift in honor of his wedding. Micha...el knew that in secret she missed her treasure even though she never mentioned a word of her sacrifice after her selfless action. Luck was on his side and now Dawn has her treasure back! Michael, this speaks volumes about your character and brings tears to my eyes as I am writing your story. Like a real life reenactment of Henry O's story, The gift of the Magi, the tale of the husband who sold his beloved gold pocket watch to buy his wife a bejeweled shell barrette, but she had cut her hair and sold it to buy him gold chain for said watch. I hope you loved reading this as much as we loved sharing this with you all. When we say jewelry tells a story of a precious day in someone's life, this is a most shining, poignant example of exactly that and why I so love what we do here! See more

Sometimes decisions and choices to be made are just black and white. Like should you treat yourself on your birthday to something special? Erin our longtime customer and friend did just that. Celebrating her big day in style, she visited us perusing the showcases with her beaming smile (always). After a number of ‘Ooohs’ and ‘Aaahhs’, this baby in 18k white gold with over a carat of colorless diamonds and a black diamond frame won her over. When you hear, "Oh yeah, that's the one in a definitive tone, you know. Out she came from her showcase spot and onto her forever home, Erin's hand. Happy Birthday beautiful lady, wear your new signature piece with pride and, yes, you sparkle just like she does!

Maris was referred to us by our friends at Cowpoke when she mentioned that she had a hankering for something custom crafted just for her. She loves Tanzanite and wanted something in rose gold with a few diamond friends to accent the center stone that she choose from Barbara's box o'gems. Maris has triumphed over a year of challenges, and what better way to celebrate her success and happiness than an "I love me" ring? She now has her daily reminder at her fingertips, of how wonderful, special and unique she is, a warrior woman who is most enchanting and had us at hello, the moment she walked in and shared just what this special piece means to her.

When Theresa inherited her beloved mother's 1.29ct transitional cut diamond, she faced a diamond dilemma. How could she best honor both the stone and her mom? After some creative noodling, we designed this vintage flavored re-do, adding some Marquis and rounds as diamond friends for a more dressed up version of the original solitaire. Hay, we all need friends, right? And how can you not love the sparkly and dazzling ones?! This is the 5th custom piece we have done for Theres...a who lives in Long Island. We have yet to meet in person, but with many phone conversations, emails and texts over the past 4 years celebrating with her, special life moments with jewelry, we have indeed achieved more than the typical customer/jeweler relationship. Not seeing her happy face as she opens the treasure chest box for that very first glance always a small let down. (It is the treasured moment for this jeweler.) But the phone call with the scream of delight from Theresa when that FedEx box arrives on her doorstep always brings joy, as does her friendship. Thank you Theresa for the honor of creating this special piece! See more

Who’s under that mask you ask? It’s Judy! She was referred to us for a redo on her original engagement diamond (since upgraded) and a pair of diamond studs from her mother-in-law as a wedding gift. Judy has wonderful taste and also wanted a TADA signature neckpiece created for her to wear every day, all the time. This is that piece, and that is Judy with a smile! She wanted me to make sure you all knew that under that mask, was the biggest smile of the happiest woman. As a side note, Judy has let us know how much she just loves her new necklace, so under my mask is also the biggest smile of the happiest jeweler!!!! Thank you Judy for being such a joy to work with!

S came in to see us about upgrading her original solitaire engagement ring presented to her by her adoring husband 20 years ago. After chatting for a bit, she seemed a bit reticent to give her 1.53ct diamond up for trading, the sentimental value just too great. And, then it came to us. Perhaps the solitaire could take a few brilliant friends like a 1 carat D color triple excellent cut on each side and some more diamonds in the side chorus. Her beautiful solitaire now appropriately surrounded like the star she had become as a symbol of love for the years spent together and the many more to come. For the curtain call, S. had a gorgeous eternity band as the companion ring for the big TADA. Did we pass the Kleenex for the tears of joy? Oh yes, we did.
