Sassy Senior for Adoption: Pearl is still looking for her forever homesadly, her previous adoption didn't work out because she became too aggressive with her smaller canine brother. This 11-year-old, 80-lb. Labrador mix would do best in a home as an only fur-child. Known affectionately to shelter staff as Pearlie, she came to BARC shelter 3 years ago after her owner needed to travel for his job and could no longer keep her. This sweet girl enjoys going on walks but is equal...ly happy chilling indoors stretched out on the sofa or floor. While she listens to commands to sit and be still outside, she can be aggressive toward big dogs, so she’d benefit from a strong person who can handle her when she’s on the leash. Pearl is housebroken and is not food aggressive, and she listens to commands and is food motivated. She absolutely aims to please and will be by your side as much as she can, looking up at you adoringly and giving her love.
