Just a friendly reminder that we always accept donations for our upcoming yard sales, as well as cans and bottles. This is a great way you can help us, even if you can’t donate monetarily. Your donations help us continue a fun Halloween event for our community! Last year we were all hit hard, and that even included our little display. Without our usual visitors and feeling it was inappropriate to ask local businesses for donations, we depleted over half of our fundraised money to put on a display. That puts us in a precarious position for this year, as we are hoping to set up our usual full trail. And stay tuned! March 1st will kick off our Luck of the Irish scratch off raffle!

252 days til Halloween! We had our first planning chat for this year a few days ago, and we are getting excited. Stay tuned as our annual Luck of the Irish raffle will begin on March 1st!

We were happy to see many families out last night. We had about 120 trick-or-treaters, which is about half of a regular year, so we were pleasantly surprised. Also, so many pups this year out to Lick or Treat. We definitely need to restock our dog bowl for next year! We saw lots of families snapping pictures, if anyone would like to share, we’d love to see them! There’s only 364 days til next Halloween!

Tomorrow’s the big day! We hope to see some families out and about. We will have our table set up, please approach one family at a time. We will set down the correct number of treat bags and step back. All treat bags were made over 2 weeks ago, using covid precautions. We will have our inflatable up if families would like to do a picture with it. Our dog bowl is also ready for any pups who lick or treat. If your family prefers to stay in a vehicle, please pull up (while being mindful of any pedestrians by our house), give us a loud trick or treat, and we will bring treat bags over for any kiddos in the vehicle. And, a reminder, there is no haunted trail this year. Please stay on the front sidewalk of our house and our neighbor (our full display is set up in the front yard of both houses).

We have our treat bags ready to go, please keep social distance from other families and wait to approach the table, where our ghouls will leave your treat bags. Dog treat basket is ready, too! We’ve got our bowl of dog treats ready for any pups who come to Lick or Treat on Halloween! We also made a ton of progress on our front yard display today, come check it out! Lights will be on each night from now through Halloween from approximately 6-8 or 9.

Made up our treat bags tonight. We will be passing these out while wearing gloves on Halloween and practicing social distancing (still figuring out our exact plans!), we hope we will see some trick-or-treaters!
