From Bayport-Blue Point School District School Superintendent, Tim Hearney. We have some great news to share with you. Blue Point Elementary School was chosen for a contest because of Connor’s Christmas Cheer, a wonderful fundraiser started by third grader, Connor Peters. Working together with the rest of the school, Connor is raising money to buy Christmas trees and other holiday decorations for members of the BBP community. Santa is coming to Bayport! On Sunday December 20th Santa will visit every street in Bayport starting around 9:30am. We ask that you do not contact the firehouse when Santa will be arriving on your street as our DIspatchers are busy handling emergencies. Engine 3-14-1, which has served our community for the last 25 years, has found a new home in Pangburn, Arkansas. We wish them the best!
