Good morning Friends and Family of Bayside!! I have a very important request for anyone that can help. We have a looooong time guest that is writing a book about his families trips to Bayside Inn. He and his family have been visiting since the 1940's!! He would love to include old pictures and postcards. Unfortunately, I can't help him with his quest but we were hoping that some of you, that are also long time visitors, would be able to help. If anyone has any please reach out. Isn't this just an awesome thing to do in such turbulent times? Maybe a trip down memory lane is just what we all need!!

This was supposed to be the most exciting weekend of the summer in Cooperstown, Hall of Fame Induction Weekend. We always look forward to greeting our extended "Bayside Family" as well as welcoming all newcomers. When guest upon guest check in we are just as excited as they are. The excitement that each guest brings energizes all of the staff. Each guest walks into the lobby with smiles from ear to ear with giddy anticipation of seeing their favorite players around town throu...ghout the weekend. We miss the daily excitement with kids playing while their parents grill. Our opera guests gathering on the back deck with a spread of wine, cheese, crackers, and fruit. Chatting with new friends and special friends that we haven't seen since the previous year. It has been an unprecedented summer filled with anxiety, loneliness, and, at times, fear. Take care of yourselves and enjoy the beautiful summer that we have been given. The weather here in Cooperstown has been hot and the lake is beautiful as usual! We miss all of you and can't wait to see you next year!
