Even though we we had to make the decision to postpone Wayne’s memorial service our Bayside Marina family quickly put together a memorial boat parade around the bay on Saturday evening. Wayne would have loved it. The turn out was amazing and they also had this memorial bench made as well. Thank you to everyone who had a part in making this happen.

In case anyone didn't hear- Pirate Fest is cancelled. Our pirates are from Canada! And there is no crossing. We had to make the decision last month. They are the ones that coordinate and run the weekend. 2021 is still on!

With heavy hearts we are going to postone Wayne Younglove memorial celebration of life to a later date. With all of the COVID restrictions and new laws our fami...ly feels we can't do the celebration the way Wayne would have wanted. If we have to choose a limited number of friends and family with no hugs or contact, wearing masks, not be able to toast him unless your eating plus many more restictions we would rather wait. Family and friends can't travel to join us without quarantine and that is not fair to them either. Our thoughts are to protect our family and friends. Wayne won't be forgotten we will just wait till this pandemic calms down. Wayne would want us to hug, kiss, laugh, dance, drink and celebrate. See more

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share this information about Wayne. Please be patient with us over the next few days as we are trying our best to still remain open during this difficult time. This is the hardest Facebook post I’ve ever had to write. It is with the absolute saddest of hearts that we lost our father last night. As you'd expect, he fought hard but lost his battle with a rare autoimmune disease. If you knew him well then you know what an amazing hus...band, father, brother and friend he really was. If you just met him in passing you'd think " Wow! What a fun time we just had!" We are going to miss him beyond belief. His kindness, generosity, fun loving attitude towards life will so dearly be missed! We love You Dad until we meet again (don’t have too much fun without us!)

Boats in the Water, this morning at Dawn In case you hadn't heard, there was some terrific news out of the Governor's office last night: Marinas are now allowed... to open for personal use, as long as proper social distancing guidelines are followed. For all of you that have shared this post below and have seen it Yes, it is true. Bayside Marina at this time is not considered an essential business and we had to close yesterday. We hope to get some more clarification but at this point there is no entry to the marina except for Scott, Kim and Justin. We have boats in the water and rest assured we are checking on them for you daily and also answering phone messages. If you have questions feel free to leave a Facebook message or a phone message and one of us will get back to you as soon as we can. Stay safe and we hope things get back to normal soon.
