You may have heard the rumors.. and they are partly true.. I will be downsizing the Salon. Beautique in herkimer will close at the end of this week.. I will however be putting the salon in my home. My renters have went their separate ways and you will be able to reach them on their personal phones for appointments. It’s been a very tough decision for me but the right one. Thank you to everyone for your business and support!! It all boils down to our 6 children being ...my main concern. It’s hard to build a business while wanting to always be there for our kids and give them 100%.. especially when they are involved in so much!! I realized that fairly soon after opening. I love that I had the chance to own a larger salon but A smaller more intimate setting salon is what’s right for me. And I am beyond fortunate to have an amazing husband that works hard to support us and that allows me to be home with the kids and focus on them. Please be patient with me as I readjust to my home! I will be doing hair part time and will (hopefully) open full time when the kids (hopefully) go back to school!! See more

Beautique is open for business this week!! We are so excited to see all of our beautiful clients! And excited to meet many new ones!! We have been catching up on booking appointments and Starting tomorrow you can call the salon to book an appointment! You can also message us anytime. We currently are not accepting walk ins. Please fallow our guidelines below when coming to the salon!! Can’t wait to see you! -You MUST wear a face covering. Disposable masks are av...ailable if you do not have one. -You must wash hands or use provided hand sanitizer upon entering the salon. -Come by yourself to your appointment. -Please wait in your vehicle. Text or call when you arrive and we will let you know when to come in for your appointment. -Practice social distancing with other clients and stylists at all times. -Under no circumstances should you enter the salon if: you are experiencing any Covid-19 Symptoms, if you have recently been tested and have not received results yet, if you have been around anyone with symptoms or anyone that has tested positive within the past 14 days. ** We will not be waxing along with any other ‘close up’ services. We will only be shampooing after a color service. Please come with wet hair if you are receiving a hair cut only.

We hope everyone enjoyed this great weekend and that everyone is healthy!! We have received a lot of messages over the last few days about our opening date. Unfortunately there is no clear instruction from the state yet but we are expecting an opening date and regulations this week.. I am assuming we can open Monday since it looks like phase one is going well in Herkimer county!! We will personally get a hold of all of our customers to let you know for sure and we will also post it on our site. We will have our own guidelines here at Beautique that I will be posting soon!!

Good morning! I want to give a big thank you to all of the health care workers out there!! You are truly on the front lines of this war right now and the credit you should be given is immeasurable. I can’t even imagine being in your shoes. I hope everyone is staying at home and practicing social distancing if you HAVE to go out or go to work. If everyone would be responsible and do this we could get through this sooner than later!!! I have been staying at home only go...ing out if I absolutely have to! I have been doing grocery pick up orders at Walmart and only going into Stewart’s for necessities if I absolutely have to! I’m happy to see people practicing social distancing when I do go And I always see people using Hand sanitizer as soon as they get into their cars.. I do the same!! I don’t grab door handles with my bare hands and I wear a glove when pumping gas.. I also do my best not to touch my face!! And of course we are staying away from everyone... our family and friends.. not only to protect ourselves but them too.. Hi everyone! It’s Alisa at Beautique! The girls and I are going to pop on every so often to keep in touch and give some hair suggestions and advice!! Please feel free to post any questions! I’m going to keep it simple but important today.. for those of us at home with our kids days on end right now.. do your hair!! That’s right it’s as simple as just styling your hair to make yourself feel better. I know if I’m home a few days in a row with the kids and just throw my hair in a bun and don’t put any makeup on I really start to feel a little bit bad about myself.. So even though you’re home.. get up, do your hair, throw a little makeup on and start your day!! I guarantee you will feel better!!
