December 14th-December 18th, 2020 Hybrid Holiday School Spirit Week

Good morning!! For those that love the winter sports, I bet you are excited for all of this snow!! I am seeing all kinds of posts about snow days and who is ha...ving an actual snow day with no classes and who is having a virtual day. We have opted to have a virtual day and here’s why. We only have three snow days built into this year’s calendar. Since our extreme hope is to have the kids back in the buildings in January, we decided to save those three days for later when the buses will be running and transporting our students will be a safety concern. With everyone already home and virtual, we decided to not interrupt the flow of instruction before Christmas break and be sure that we save those days for when our bus drivers, teachers and staff, and our students and families’ safety may be in jeopardy. We understand everyone is ready for a break. We agree! It is absolutely well-deserved! That’s why teachers will not be assigning much, if any, work over break so everyone can turn off those Chromebooks, play outside, spend time with family, enjoy some board games, or get lost in a book! Four days of instruction left, so let’s finish strong...attend those classes...get all your assignments done! Then you can have a hard earned 12 day break beginning Dec 23! Let’s do this!!
