Mayor Walsh received his first dose of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine today, and encourages you all to do the same. Do it for yourself, do it for your family, do it for your community.
From the Walsh family to yours, Happy St. Patrick’s Day Syracuse! #KeepRising
A message from Mayor Walsh. We stand in solidarity with the AAPI community and against any form of anti-Asian violence or hate.

FIXING OUR ROADS Mayor Walsh visited the Syracuse Department of Public Works (DPW) Asphalt Plant last week. DPW road reconstruction crews are working long days ...this summer to repave roads across the City. Chief Operating Officer Corey Driscoll Dunham, Superintendent of Street Repair Kevin Hunter and Asphalt Plant Operator Peter Guiles showed the Mayor how the facility works. The plant can produce about 300 tons of asphalt per hour, which keeps road reconstruction crews supplied for repaving work during late spring, summer and early fall. Thank you Peter, Kevin, Corey and the Street Repair Team! See more

Today we reflect on the significance of #Juneteenth, a day to commemorate emancipation while also recommitting to the work that needs to be done to ensure equality for all. Take today to learn about Juneteenth and celebrate African-American history and heritage!
Have you seen Downtown Syracuse in bloom? Thanks, Downtown Syracuse, for sprucing up the flower beds!
