YUP, these 3 things will increase your reach and ability to be discovered by NEW people And I really mean it when I say they are simple.... So what are they? 1 LOCATION TAGS Add a location tag to every single one of your posts... AND stories! By including a geotag, your content could potentially end up on the explore pages for those locations. Which means, if people are searching particular places, they may just stumble across your content and even check out your profile. Winning! 2 HASHTAGS Hashtags should never be just an after-thought to your content. Don’t just slap on any old hashtag, because some Instagram guru once said that’s what you're meant to do (but you have no idea why ) Be strategic with your hashtags! Which ones will attract your ideal client? What ones are they searching and clicking on? What types of content are they engaging with? Make sure you use hashtags that are relevant to your business audience and your content. 3 OPTIMISE YOUR NAME FIELD Did you know that the 'name' field in your bio (not to confused with your username aka your @ handle) is actually searchable? #MindBlown Therefore you want to use keywords that describe you and your business. For example, mine is ‘Instagram Services & Training’ because that's what I do and what my account is all about. So there you have it, 3 ways to boost your discoverability! You have to make sure you are showing up with value and giving people something that benefits them.... Consistently showing up involves you posting yourself but also engaging when other people posts something. Whether it's someone asking for an opinion or seeking advice. help out! 2. Sharing your posts You always want to share your business page posts to your personal account. This will increase its reach and give more exposure to your post. You want people to be able to discover your post, right? 3. Inviting people from likes Ever noticed someone liking your posts that does not follow your page? Invite them so they can see your future posts! This is an awesome feature especially because you can't invite people that aren't friends with you/haven't interacted with you, directly to your page. 4. Engage with other pages Your business page will have its own news feed. You are able to follow other pages. When you leave comments on other pages, more people will be able to discover you. 5. Inviting people through messenger Not only can you invite your friends through a notification but you are also able to have the invitation send through messenger.
