As we continue to celebrate Pastoral month. Pastor Jenkins during this pandemic you have been such a blessing to us at Bethel. The Word of God reminds us in Jos...hua 1:9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. Leadership is scary and taking responsibility to faithfully represent God and His light, as well taking care of your congregation is a big deal. Your courage may disappear but be reminded that God is always there with you. Pastor Jenkins- as our Pastor you have always seen it fit to encourage, lead by example, and most of all support your congregation. You have ministered to us in so many messages and today I pray that as you seek to be a man after God’s own heart that you will remain steadfast in your calling. I can remember as a child when you accepted Christ and back then in Jamaica. Pastor Gordon now deceased, had given you the book of St. John to start reading. You didn’t miss a beat, even when I would be bothering you and trying to distract you because I wanted to play with you. You have never looked back since that day, and you have heard the tributes from some of those persons who knew you from then. Pastor thank you for not taking your eyes off Christ, be a if we do we lose focus and will replace Him with something else. Nothing should ever take the place of the mandate by which you were first called. Which is to spread the Gospel. To feed the hungry. And to clothe the poor.Continue to let the Lord direct your steps always Pastor Jenkins as you carry out the great Commission.

Today we had a wonderful time as we showed our Pastor and First Family how much we appreciate them. Our Pastor has offered us an example of the kind of FAITH to... live as well as a life of Holy Devotion to a God who freely Gives. Pastor you have devoted to giving so much and God only knows all the souls that you have touched and continue to touch. You have committed to serve when you answered the call years ago. You continue to show it by being a servant to all. Thank you for serving and being there for us at Bethel and the community of North Broadway where you serve. May God continue to bless, prosper you, give you excellent health and most of all keep you in perfect peace. Isaiah 41:10 says Fear not , for I am with you ; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. May God continue bless you.
