Signature Beauty, owned by Lloyd Glick, continues posting my image, and selling my color , even after being informed by my lawyers that this must STOP. I receive NO compensation for the fraudulent use of my name and sale of products bearing my name. This heartbreaking situation serves as a cautionary statement to all salon professionals: Be Careful when ‘investors’ want to be a part of anything you do. I was so full of hope and gratitude my misjudgment.

BETH SAYS "Permanent hair color is also referred to as OXIDATIVE color. Why? Because these dyes develop after they are intermixed with peroxide. When we mix the oxidative dye with hydrogen peroxide, we cause a chemical reaction which liberates oxygen, and which energizes/activates our color formula... ready to apply! Peroxide is the "fuel" that activates the "motor"(energy) in the dye molecules." BETH SAYS "Red" tone (desired or not desired) most visibly "shows up" when hair depth is at level 4, 5, 6, or 7... we call this the Red Zone. Because permanent hair color has the ability to simultaneously "lift" and "deposit" new color, we can create red results without pre-lightening... UNLESS the hair has been DYED dark brown or dark red. Also, very dark natural brown hair transitions best to red when a formula level 6 or 7, mixed with 20 volume developer, is applied.

BETH SAYS "It is said that the eyes are the "Windows to the soul". But, aside from that, eye color will provide a very clear indication of the type and quantity of natural pigment within the hair's cortex. Max located this this FAB info.... When eyes are brown, this strongly indicates a significant presence of eumelanin (dark brown/black pigment) in the cortex. When eyes are blue, this indicates very little eumelanin present in the hair, BUT...... When eyes are green, this is indicative of a HUGE amount of phaeomelanin (red-gold) in the hair. REMEMBER: Phaeomelanin is not able to be 100% removed from the hair, particularly when a client has green eyes and naturally red hair. BEWARE. This client, in 999 cases out of 1000, will not successfully transition to a "clean" blonde."
