To the Byram Hills School Community, The Byram Hills School District will have an asynchronous snow day on Monday, February 1st, 2021 due to the predicted snow accumulation. I will be in touch Monday evening as I continue to watch the storm's effect on school opening for Tuesday, 2/2/21, and if we need a delay or asynchronous snow day. Remember that we can utilize up to a 3-hour delay. Let's see what this storm brings us.... Regarding the Asynchronous Snow Day Pilot- Remember that asynchronous snow days are a pilot program established by NYSED for this year. If you have power issues or your child cannot complete the asynchronous work due to the storm, the teachers will understand. The survey results from the first pilot day and survey results at the end of the pilot will help the District to determine whether we will use this system if NYSED permits asynchronous snow days in future years. Masks, lanyards and Spirit Wear sale! Thursday, September 3rd between 9am to 11am at 15 Maple Avenue. Everyone who ordered a mask via Membership Toolkit or Supplies to Please, should come by to pick up their items. The PTSA will have additional masks, lanyards and NEW spirit wear items for sale. Please pass by to support the PTSA and Byram Hills School District. All proceeds go back to the children, teachers and school buildings. The PTSA recently purchased bleacher cushions and storage bins for the schools. Thank you so very much for your continued support!
