Rock Lobster by Paul Sadoff This custom frame was built for SRAM AXS wireless shifting, which we set up as a 1x system with a missive wide-range 10-50 XX1 rear cassette mated to a SRAM Force 46t crankset. The cockpit is Zipp's alloy with flared gravel-oriented bars. Wheels are tubeless Enve 4.5 AR on Chris King hubs, along with their headset and bottom bracket. And now for something a little lighter and faster... This is Trek's Supercaliber 9.7. This carbon bike features 100mm of front wheel travel and 60mm of rear, making it feel less like a squishy full-suspension and more like a hardtail with a little give. This bike will excel is climbing and twisty turns and weighing in at under 25.5 lbs it's light enough to keep riding all day without excess fatigue. Nipples. They come in all shapes and sizes and we love them all, but these DT Swiss ones are our favorite. These brass beauties are not only durable and corrosion resistant, but also feature prolock technology which keeps them from loosening up. If that's not enough, they have a "prohead" shape which allows for a better angle to the spokes AND a squorx interface, which allows for higher tension and better contact with the spoke wrench.
